21st Kanagawa Governor’s Cup Bridge Tournament
November 28–29, 2026 – Kanagawa, Japan
We are pleased to welcome players from around the world to the 21st Kanagawa Governor’s Cup Bridge
Tournament.
Tournament Format
The event will be held in Swiss Teams format over two days.
A Tournament for All Levels
While we warmly welcome advanced and experienced players, we especially encourage intermediate and novice players to join us as well. Because the tournament is divided into flights, players of all levels can enjoy fair and comfortable competition.
We hope many players will take this opportunity to enjoy international exchange through bridge, meet new friends, and experience the unique bridge community in Kanagawa.
Flights & Venues
The tournament is divided into four flights. In Japan, flight assignment is based on the sum of the top four players’ master points (SP total) within each team.

Flight A – Open Team Venue: Yokohama Bridge Center

Flight B – Advanced Team Venue: Yokohama Bridge Center

Flight C – Intermediate Team Venue: Ofuna Bridge Center

Flight D – Novice Team Venue: Ofuna Bridge Center
When registering, please provide the master points of all team members as recognized by your national bridge federation, so we can assign your team to the appropriate flight.
Participation Fee Policy

International Teams Free of charge for all teams traveling from overseas.

Transnational Teams (Domestic + International Members) Also free of charge if the team includes at least four players from overseas.
Access from Haneda Airport

Yokohama Bridge Center: approx. 28 minutes by train

Ofuna Bridge Center: approx. 48 minutes by train
Both venues are easily accessible from Tokyo and major transportation hubs.
Accommodation Support
